Did you know that red wine pairs very well with tacos? LA Plaza Cocina will explore how various types of tacos can compliment a variety of wines.

Is Al Pastor your favorite? Learn how this taco can pair with a glass of Nebbiolo, Zinfandel or Pinot!

Looking for a wine to pair with the Classic Carne Asada taco? We have you covered! A Granache or Tempranillo will compliment wonderfully!

Interested in Veggie-based tacos? Try paring the taco with a red or rose wine!

In this class, you’ll taste how each of these wines pair with the savory flavors of Mexico’s classic tacos. Our Baja California sommeliers will discuss how to pair wines from El Valle de Guadalupe and provide an experience of describing and tasting the distinct flavor profiles of Mexican Cuisine.

Dress Code Policy

For the safety of all attendees, LA Plaza Cocina asks that all attendees abide by the following guidelines of our Dress Code Policy to make our space safe for you, our staff members, and guest chefs:

• Please wear comfortable clothing with closed-toe shoes
• Please pull long hair back with a hairband
• Attendees must wear a mask throughout the duration of the program except for eating and/or drinking

COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

Attendees of LA Plaza Cocina’s food programs must provide proof of vaccination to attend both the cooking classes and demonstrations. In addition, all attendees must wear a mask throughout the duration of the program except for eating and/or drinking.

For attendees who are NOT vaccinated, you must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours (3 days) before attending this event.
